Job Description
· Work independently in drafting and reviewing various agreements (both internally and externally).
· Ensure legal compliance across the group as relates to relevant Acts and legal bodies.
· Oversee and maintain the contract management system.
· Develop mechanisms and reporting to ensure proactive management of contracts.
· Assist in coordinating the audit tasks, creating a project plan and managing deadlines.
· Provide legal guidance and insight to all divisions of the business to ensure compliance and to minimize risk/identifying risk factors
· Reviewing contracts.
· Processing and assisting with insurance claims/fines, etc.
· Assisting with litigation matters and liaising with attorneys/Group Legal on the same.
Key Skills
· Good command of the English language (particularly written)
· Ability to advise on labour related issues, internal policies and documentation and certain structuring processes.
Required Skills
· Working knowledge of various legislation, including but not limited to POPI, PAIA, CPA, NCA, all Companies Act
· Experience in labour related matters essential, which shall include dispute resolution (conciliation to arbitration), and experience in CCMA/Labour Court matters.
