Specific Project management deliverables as follows:
a) Assist and Oversee aspects of site due diligence including environmental, engineering,
permits, geotechnical, community, zoning entitlement, development capacity, etc.
b) Direct market research and demographic research projects, which will inform the site
selection process
c) Assist with selecting and managing a team of third-party professionals for each project and supervise team and inter-team relationships
d) Contribute to development of project budgets and business plans and monitor financial performance of projects under his/her supervision
e) Formulate staffing and execution plan to meet project goals and objectives
f) Conceptualize and direct projects to meet business goals
g) Lead the process for designated real estate development projects
h) Host and manage project meetings and co-ordinate aspects of the construction and development process
i) Formulate monthly project reports for review by the management team
j) Prepare accurate project plans to be approved by project team and tenants
k) Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity and fulfillment of commitments
Required Skills
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

Additional Requirements
Report directly to the Operations manager.
Quickly learn the product and develop a skilful sales mind by always picking up any new
sales opportunities during company errands and communicate them to the Operations
manager.
Work hand-in-hand with the Operations manager and the production team to create a
mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirement of the job
Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all project documents so as to be familiar with
every detail and/or requirements, e.g drawings and BOQ/BOM.
Must be SAFETY conscience in a bid to plan and manage safety programs for each project
and make sure that all aspects of SAFETY on site are being followed and archived to ensure a
safe, injury/accident-free workplace and on all active sites.
Help the production/Project managers in the arrangement and analysis of projects and
scheduling of reports on projects
Oversee projects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according
to outlined specifications, and that they also conform with project timetable
Deliver and convey project needs to the manager. For example, in a case whereby extra
materials/resources are needed for the completion of a project, you will communicate the
situation to the Operations manager and make a request.
Ensure that all materials issued to a specific project are used prudently and accurately.
Assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the companys relationship
with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership
Ensure total quality adherence is followed by the production team (whenever on site) in
accordance with the company quality control policy.
Perform all office related errands as assigned by the Operations manager or the office stuff.
Eg, collecting/buying orders from various suppliers by ensuring the right quality and quantity
is collected and delivered.
Most of the time will be spent in Lusaka although, the Operations Controller will need to
remain flexible and will work wherever the projects are happening.
Any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Must be flexible - especially to travel to wherever an active site is located.
Must be ready to work past normal hours when need arises
Good analytical and organizational abilities are of great importance
Possess good leadership ability, as well as ability to work as part of a team or even lead a team when called upon

Develops the project communications plan through extensive consultations, and from the stakeholder needs analysis
Monitor and report on project progress in a structured manner, drawing particular attention to any deviations from the original project plan.

Monitors and provide projects performance reports in accordance with the projects communication plan to support senior management decision making.
